Ariel pursed her lips, but then smiled slightly when she asked about Howl. "Why don't you try outside?" she suggested.

A barely noticeable breeze then passed by the two girls. Ariel ignored it.

And Howl stood out there, looking like he'd been waiting out there a long time. He turned to look at Rapunzel, and offered a small smile.

"Your girl-talk's over already?" he chuckled a bit.

Rapunzel raises an eyebrow. Well, you weren't in there to hear it. Trust me, she wasn't "willing" to say a thing. So I just kinda gave up. Maybe after the baby, we can get drunk and she and I can have a no filter conversation for once... She gives a shrug. Who knows... Eventually I'll find a friend who doesn't mind talking about this stuff. -.-

Howl chuckled a bit, and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe you need to ease her into the conversation...once you get the momentum going, I'm certain she'll loosen up as she gets more comfortable with the conversation," he gave her an encouraging smile.

Rapunzel looks up at him. Maybe...I'll try that next time, then.. I guess I just assumed that-- I dunno... A small smile crossing her face before she looks down. Guess you're both enjoying giving me advice today. Though I think Ariel's wasn't intentional.... Her face pans up to his, giving him a warm expression as a light blush appears around her cheeks. I...-- Well...uh...-- Y-you think...that...question you asked earlier could be....repeated...? J-just for...my sake, anyway..?

Howl's gentle smile slowly widened at Rapunzel's request, and he inclined his head.

"But of course."

And then he swept one of his coat-tails behind him, and he bent so he crouched on one knee. And then he held up the black box to Rapunzel, and opened it to reveal the ring once more.

"Rapunzel, will you marry me?"

Rapunzel smiles at him as tears form to her eyes yet again. She bites her lip before eagerly nodding her head as she lets out a small giggle. Yes...! A thousand times over, yes!

Howl's smile only brightened, and then he leapt onto his feet and had enveloped Rapunzel into a warm hug. His arms wrapped around her securely, and he twirled her around in a happy hug.

Rapunzel clings to him happily, holding him tightly as if never wanting to let him go. She continues to giggle and quickly but gently kisses his cheek as her smile becomes wider.

The large grin still on his face, Howl stopped spinning Rapunzel, and gently lowered her back to her feet. He then reluctantly removed his arms from around her, and instead offered her the box with the ring.

Rapunzel continues to smile as well, hesitantly taking the ring out of the box, placing it on her left ring finger. She puts her hand a far away from her face, giving the ring a clear overview before her eyes beam as she stares back to Howl.

Rapunzel eagerly returns the kiss, wrapping her arms around him quickly and holding herself close to him. She smiles into the kiss and gives a light sigh.

The corners of Howl's lips curled upwards into a smile as well, and he gently stroked his fingers through Rapunzel's hair before he gently pulled away from the kiss - though his arms remained wrapped around Rapunzel.

"I love you," he gently murmured, his forehead leaning against hers.

The familiar voice makes Rapunzel's eyes widen more than they have in a long time. Her breath hitches as she begins to tremble, clinging to Howl before slowly turning around. ............

Howl tensed as well when he heard the voice. It was alien to him, but the malice within it was hard to ignore, and Rapunzel's response only worried him more.

So the wizard kept one arm securely wrapped around Rapunzel, and raised his head to look at the owner of the voice, all the while angling himself so he was between her and whoever spoke.

Slowly, a figure comes from amongst the shadows, grinning widely as his hands are set behind his back. He was extremely athletic build, and had a cleft chin. His hair was long and tied into a ponytail. He possessed icy blue eyes while wearing a red tunic and black tights, alongside boots. His voice was deep with a strong British accent and his cold, hungry smile came to his lips as he seemed to look passed Howl, and straight to Rapunzel. Well well, my blonde beauty. It's been some time, has it not?

Rapunzel stays behind Howl as he wrings her hands quickly and nervously. Her whole body becomes paler and paler the more the man speaks as her trembling continues.

You don't want to speak? How unformal to give the silent treatment to your child's father. He stopped at least 12 feet away from Howl, as he raises an eyebrow.

Howl was...surprisingly calm as this transpired. Too calm. But Rapunzel could feel his grip on her tightening just a bit more, and there seemed to be a dangerous glint to his emerald eyes.

"Ah," he said coolly. "So you must be Sher Khan. I was under the impression that you were dead."

Khan gives a light chuckle as he begins to walk around the man. Well...magic is a mysterious source...I'd assume Rapunzel would have mentioned that to you by now... Giving...her circumstances.

Rapunzel takes in a shaky breath as she closes her eyes. The last thing she wanted was to make eye contact with the man before her.

He however continues to watch her every move before glancing slowly up at Howl. Now, who might you be?

At Khan's question, Howl raised his head.

"I have many names that I am known by; but I am most commonly known as the Wizard Howl."
