Howl smiled and gave her a quick kiss. "It's no trouble at all," he chuckled. "Now, I should probably shower as well before we head back. But don't worry, I won't take too long," he chuckled again before going into the bathroom.

Howl blinked in surprise, and then his eyes softened. "I didn't intend for it to sound that way . . ." he exhaled. "I understand that girlfriend is a more widely used term . . . but it seemed too . . . informal, I suppose."
