Ariel chuckled a bit at Mowgli. "Aw, I'm not such bad company, am I?"

*Mowgli turns to Ariel pouts, looking away* You wouldn't be if I was still crushing on you...

They arrive in a small town, and it seems to be midday, the sun actually shining rather brightly.  There was a cement road, and a row of houses along the road.  Howl and Rapunzel's clothing had changed as well, to more modern-day wear, Howl wearing a grey suit.  (You can decide what Rapunzel's wearing if you want XP)

*Rapunzel looks down at her clothing and blinks* Whyyyyyyy are we wearing something different??

Howl smiled a bit sheepishly. "We'd stand out too much if we were wearing our normal clothes . .. "

Ariel chuckled again, but then her eyes softened. "How've you been?"

*Rapunzel rubs her head* Oh...ok... Well...where we goin'??

*Mowgli sighs, shrugging* I dunno... Okay...I guess... By myself a lot lately...

Howl smiled and took her hand. "This way," he said, leading her down the road.

Ariel tilted her head. "Why's that . . . ?"

*Rapunzel nods and holds his hand, following him*

*Mowgli exhales* Rapunzel's been hanging with Howl and Hodari and Nelly all the time... She never has time for me anymore so... *he shrugs*

Howl smiled and walked towards one of the houses, ringing the doorbell.

"I don't want whatever it is you're selling!" a woman with a thick Welsh accent yelled from inside.

Ariel's eyes softened more, and she tilted her head. "Hey, you've still got that mirror, right?"

*Rapunzel blinks in surprise* Uh...

*Mowgli looks at her* Of course I do...

Howl chuckled a bit.  "Megan, I swear, I'm not selling you anything,"

The door opened, and a woman with brown hair - but Howl's eyes - stared up incredulously.  "Howell??"

"Uncle Howell!" a little girl with the same brown hair and green eyes squealed, running over to the doorway and jumping into Howl's arms.  

Howl laughed, and held the little girl up.  "Hello, Mari!  How are you?"

"Good!" the girl giggled before blinking over at Rapunzel curiously.  

Howl smiled and then looked over at Rapunzel.  "Megan, Mari, this is Rapunzel.  Rapunzel, this is my sister, Megan, and my niece, Mari."

Ariel smiled a bit. "Well, feel free to use it anytime, okay? I'll be there to answer it."

*Rapunzel watches the little girl jump to Howl as she smiles softly; she then blinks, realizing she's being stared at as she shyly waves* H-hello..!

*Mowgli frowns and looks away* I dunno... You could be busy with your dea-- your...husband. You wouldn't have time for me anymore...

Mari giggled and waved at Rapunzel. "You have pretty hair!!!"

Megan blinked and squinted a little suspiciously at Howl, but nodded, opening the door wider. "Come on in," she offered.

Ariel smiled a bit more. "I'll have time for you . . . . I always will . . . "

*Rapunzel smiles brightly at Mari* Thank you...! *she smiles to Megan and steps into the house*

*Mowgli continues looking away* Promise...?

Megan nodded and gestured at the couch for them to sit on. "Would you like any lemonade . . . ?"

Mari, meanwhile, giggled and smiled up at Rapunzel. "I wish I had hair like yours!!!"

Ariel nodded, her eyes sincere. "I promise."

*Rapunzel shakes her head and waves her hand* No thank you..! ^^ *she looks tp Mari and beams, beginning to run her fingers through her hair* Well, if you treat it right and take care of it the way you're supposed to, your hair will be JUST as long as mine someday! ^^ But it takes a lot of patience!

*Mowgli looks down and nods a bit*

Megan nodded at Rapunzel and turned to Howl. "Neil's still usptairs with that blasted machine of his," she said with a sour face.

Howl chuckled a bit. "That's alright. Tell him I've got a new game for him; he'll come right downstairs then."

Mari giggled. "Don't worry! I can be reeeeeaaally patient!! One time, I sat for a whole ten minutes while I waited for Mommy to make me food! ^-^"

Ariel smiled a bit and ruffled his hair. "Hey, don't look so down, okay?"

*Rapunzel smiles and laughs a bit, giving Mari a thumbs up* Well, you're halfway there then!! ^^ ( >3>;; Howl's not gonna introduce Rapunzel?? )

Megan exhaled. "So . . . Howell, what brings you here . . . ?"

Howl smiled and put an arm around Rapunzel. "Well, I thought it was time I introduced Rapunzel to the family."

Megan blinked. "Oh . . . so you two are together then . . . ?"

Mari gasped cutely. "Can I call you Auntie then?? 8D"

Ariel smiled a bit and ruffled his hair.

*Rapunzel beams to Howl before shyly nodding at Megan* Yes, we are. ^///^ *she looks down at Mari and giggles* If you'd like to!! ^_^

*Mowgli gives a small smile when his hair is ruffled before looking at Ariel, still smiling*

(XDD oh. He's not used to introducing girls as his girlfriend, give him a break XDDDD)

Megan blinked and then looked at Howl suspiciously. "I see . . . Howell, would you mind getting Neil downstairs? You're the only one who can tear him away from that damn machine,"

Howl blinked in slight surprise, but then nodded his head. "Of course," he said with a small smile, kissing the top of Rapunzel's head before standing up and heading upstairs.

As soon as Howl left, Megan turned to Rapunzel with pursed lips. "He's not making you be here, is he?"

Mari giggled and clapped. "Yay!" she squealed happily before hugging Rapunzel.

Ariel chuckled and smiled down at Mowgli fondly.

*not too long after, a heavy wind begins to appear in the room*

Megan blinked in surprise, and then frowned a bit. "Really . . . ? He didn't bribe you to come here or anything . . . ?"

Mari giggled and played with Rapunzel's hair a bit. "^^"

Ariel blinked and looked up, frowning slightly at the wind. She stood up straight and put a protective hand on Mowgli's shoulder as she waited for whatever the wind was warning to.

*Rapunzel blinks then shakes her head* Oh, no...! Howl would never do anything like that..! *she looks to Mari and smiles, rubbing her arm as she allows the girl to play with her hair*

Megan blinked and frowned a bit. "You sure we're talking about the same Howell . . . ?"

Mari giggled and snuggled Rapunzel.
